Any interest in running the trail that day? Myself and another JLUR will be heading up there. It is a very mild trail that makes for a great day.
***Update:
Where: Sourgrass Trail Dorrington, Ca.
When: Saturday 4/20/2019. Meet at The Arnold, Ca Ace Hardware Store parking at at 8:30 am (here we have cell reception, an actual address to find, and a large enough parking lot).
Ace Hardware
981 Blagen Rd
Arnold, CA 95247
United States
It is 11 miles, 32 minutes) from here to the trailhead. There is also a Chevron close by for those needing fuel.
Bring food, water, recovery gear, first aid supplies, and your sense of humor. The last is a requirement. It would help if you have deflators and means to air back up.
The Lube Room is an awesome establishment only a few minutes from the trailhead. We will be visiting at the end of our day.
Expect the trail to take about 4 hours to do with a group our size. I have 2 other jeeps coming as well. The trail is absolutely beautiful. Much of the trail follows the pristine stanislaus river.
We look forward to seeing you there. This is a go, rain or shine.
Confirmed Attendees:
1: It is I, Shenanigans.
2: friend #1 (JLUR)
3: friend #2 (JKUS)
