Tell me if I'm wrong but it looks like the half doors are done with.....:(
If so what a mistake, a Jeep signature item gone....but spend countless hours and $$ redesigning a fold down windshield, really???? Great we can all drop the windshield once catch some bugs, rocks, etc in our faces and fell like a real jeeper.

Hope I'm wrong.

MOPAR is producing half doors...see below.

Come on now, you know there are going to half doors for the JL. To think that wouldn't be the case is beyond silly.
Then come now. Read. As in my post right before your original one.

After market and trail doors aside. A factory option would be great but have that sinking feeling. After all they carried the half doors over up to current but never resigned the interior panels to match the interior change after 2011.

That might be the case, but the aftermarket will undoubtedly have an answer or mr. jimmy-rig.
The problem with the aftermarket is that they don’t give it to you as a free option as an alternative to the other doors. Not everyone wants to or can afford to buy a lot of aftermarket stuff.

I'm guessing the take rate of 1/2 doors is very low. The development costs are high to design doors that pass safety standards for a free option. I don't know if they are dead but money wise it makes sense to kill them off.

Patience, Grasshopper. There is more to come.
Agreed. The post with the clay model from the dealers meeting showed full doors on one side and half’s on the other. I think there will be half doors.
