Vehicle - 2019 JLUS, 5" UC base, Upgraded Infinity 3.5" speakers in dash and soundbar
Complaint - Low/mid bass severely lacking
Contemplating upgrading the soundbar speakers using the SSV adapters to get some bass and even out the system. Have multiple questions:
Is this a waste on the stock sound system? I'm not saying that I am opposed to spending some coin on upgrading the whole system, but generally I am in the camp that the factory system looks really clean and I really like the factory features (steering controls, U-Connect, Backup camera, etc.)
If decide to upgrade, what speakers? 2 or 3 way coax? Component system with crossover? I know that I want to go low ohms and high sensitivity to get the most out of the factory head unit.
How to wire? I am seeing conflicting information on how to wire. Some people say to use the feed to the 3.5" only, others say to twist tweeter and woofer wires together.
Appreciate your insight on this.
