Some colors cancelled?

A member of my family was interested a billet silver metallic Wrangler, recently. Dealer told him that all the orders, for this color, were simply cancelled in Canada.

Is the shortage also affecting certain colors?

It's been confirmed that Billet Silver is no longer an option. I don't believe any other colors have been confirmed.

I heard on another forum that someone in the US was told that Nacho was discontinued a week after they placed the order (early May), so they went with yellow.

Oh I didn’t know it was that bad up there! Here we have some, not many, and not with the options it seems most want.

As soon as you want a 6MT, it's an order. Right now, an order is anywhere between 3 and 7 months of waiting, in Canada.

Yeah, you can pick the only one on the lot that's automatic, not the color you want and not with the options you want, but...it seems to be a good amount of money for not getting what you aimed for.

My '21 Willys got read ended a couple of weeks ago. Dealer found a '21 Sport S that was ordered by another dealer, elsewhere in Quebec, so I can get a replacement quicker. And it's not coming quicker. I'll spend the summer in a base Compass they borrowed...

We got a sh**load of 4XE, however, since electric cars are getting quite popular in Quebec.

Jeep is not going to get rid of silver altogether. It is one of the most popular colors.

If Billet is gone, you can be sure there will be some other type of silver.

Chief Blue, Nacho and Billet Silver are discontinued. Gecko has been added.

No word on 2022 colors yet. Holding out hope for Crush.

Yep, Silver, a Gray, White, Black and a Red color are always there. A Blue is pretty commonly available in recent years.

More like for the past 8 or so years!

There is this well-established pattern now, by which FCA makes quarterly changes in color availability, but dealers only find out when they try to order a color and the system won't accept it any longer. Dealers are then kept in the dark as to what colors have been added.

It is not uncommon for us to find out on here, before Jeep dealers do, what colors have been added and dropped.

Whoever is at FCA responsible for dealer communications and training should be fired.
