This Rack is AWESOME!!!

Is this still available?
Hey Jo! Sorry I missed your question....No, it sold...but it did go to a great Jeep guy who's already been camping on his roof!

I'm looking to get this rack as well for my Sky One Touch roof. Since you had it installed, could you tell me what you thought about the wind noise while driving?

And is this the 40" LED or 50" model?

Hey! Sorry for the slow response. The light bar was 43" Cali Raised bar. I loved the light, the look and the price...

As for the rack, it's tricky. There is no rack as solid, capable, perfectly fit and smartly designed as the Gobi. It's by far the best out there...But for me ultimately I care more about being in a convertible than being able to haul stuff. (Yes we camp and do a lot with the kids, but hitch mount trays and gutter mount aero bars are now getting me pretty far). The wind noise was just too brutal for me. The front, even with the plexiglass windshield faring is just so blunt that you hear the rig smashing through the wind. I spent sooo many hours trying to seal gaps and shape edges to redirect the air flow and all I would gain was different pitched wind noise from other places. The sky one-touch is just so perfectly quiet when open, and pretty thinly insulated when closed, that the rack really ruined how I love to use the truck. But if your priorities are different than mine, and you don't see yourself on highways much, then I honestly can't recommend the rack high enough...like I said tricky.

Happy to discuss further if you'd like.

Cheers,
~Dj

Thanks for the info - that’s extremely helpful. Wind noise is one of the things I was concerned with, given the truck spends most of its life without gear on it and just used to run around.

Very helpful as it’s hard to find reviews with the SkyOneTouch top and this rack. Thanks for responding.

I'd be interested at a descent price and without that light bar.
