Sold my 2019 Wrangler... Had the extended warranty from Mopar--can that be refunded?

So I tried to order a 392 from a few different dealers in my area... All of them insisted on a $10-15k "market adjustment" to order one. I decided paying more than MSRP for a vehicle was not something I wanted to do, so traded the Jeep in and bought a non-Jeep for my wife...

Anyhow--when I bought my 2019 JLU Rubicon new in 2019, I bought an extended warranty from Mopar at the time of purchase. The Jeep is still in the original factory warranty (32k miles). Does anyone know if Jeep allows for refunds of the extended warranty purchase if not used? I've heard some manufacturers allow this.

Tx!

A refund is allowed, but the request must be from the dealer that sold you the service contract.
Thanks. I had choice words with them when I told them what I thought of their business practices for selling $15k above MSRP... So this will be a fun conversation

I honestly would cancel you get one at Chapman in PA for 6k under MSRP or get a good deal at Criswell I have heard.

I’ll wait for the 22’s to come out I guess and just order one then. My wife was due for a new car, and wanted a Macan… They gave me $47k on trade for the Wrangler—I paid $53k 2+ years ago. Nuts!

Got to love the use trade value...waiting for 22 is chancy has they have not said if they roll the 392 into '22. If they awesome, if not then youll be paying for it in the used market.

Interesting—hadn’t considered that it might not be available in a 2022

I would definitely consider looking to other dealers, not sure how far Horsham is from Boston, but there are dealers at the very least not charging over MSRP.

My 2014 Ram was totaled during the extended warranty period. I worked with the business manager at the dealer I purchased it from for a pro-rated refund. It took about 2 weeks after the paper was filed to receive the check.

I'd be really surprised if the 392 was a one off. My guess is they sold as many as they could make the profit margin is probably through the roof....mpg standards be damned. That's what the 4xe and Diesel are for.

Should be Tom Borah from Chapman CDJR
I called at 9 this morning... (before I saw Tom's name in this email):

- I'm interested in ordering a Wrangler 392
- Would you like to come in and look at the inventory in our showroom?
- no, I'm just interested in ordering a Wrangler 392
- I'll have someone get back to you...

nothing...
