SOLD: Like New JTops JLU Titanium with Freedom Panels Port

For Sale: JTops JL mesh sun shade, Titanium color, 4-door model with freedom tops access port. Firm on price at $180 “shipped” or local pickup in the DC area. Ordered this for my JLU Sahara, installed it in mid-September and ran with it until the end of October. I removed it when I switched from soft top back to hardtop. I only had the top down for a about three days due to poor weather during the time it was installed, so the JTops shade has virtually zero wear and extremely limited sun exposure, it’s practically new. I will ship UPS or USPS with signature guarantee and I accept PayPal. PM me if interested.

Not the v2/2.0. Mine was manufactured in late August 2018. I contacted JTops to confirm and this is their feedback.

Not sure what that strip does for you.

None really. I emailed JTops this week and they said an elastic strap was added to the freedom top access hole for all tops made October 2018 and later as I noted above. Looks like a 2” strip based on the pic I found on their site—scroll down and look at the tan JTops shade here: https://www.jtopsusa.com/jeep-mesh-shade-top-comparisons

I don’t think that strip of elastic would make any real functions difference, nor do I think it would serve a significant purpose to keep it from flapping as mine doesn’t have a wind flapping issue because the two magnets there hold it very firm to the roll bar.
