We've had to sell our JL as doing a US roadtrip for the next year and have some key upgrades we removed prior to sale. I want to offer up for sale!

Following this link (https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/aftermarket-stereo-installed-finally.46065/) - I went all in and bought the JVC headunit and it has worked great.

I removed the system last night (headunit with wiring harness, mounting plate, plastic surround, microphone) and it is in the original box. I wired up all the harness fittings from Crutchfield so it should just plug and play into a JL with Uconnect as mentioned in the above link.

Note our backup camera did not work with this unit, but the improvement in sound without any changes to the speakers was HUGE. Not to mention Android auto / Apple carplay (via USB), actually responsive touch screen and bluetooth that autoconnects!

Comes with bus connector to monitor JL engine characteristics, antenna adapter, iDatalink Maestro interface module and Factory integration adapter, and 3 Bojo Trim Panel tools and removal of legacy system and installation of this one instructions.

Note I have connected the wiring harness and adapters already as we use it in our 2018 JL. Therefore you should just need to plug and play once you got the Uconnect out. Only fiddly part is the CANBUS connection behind the glovebox.

Total cost for me when I bought this 1 year ago = $619.36.
JVC KW-M750BT unit = $349.99
iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module = $121.68
Hardness, tools, other pieces = $147.69

Offering for $200 for the lot.
Postage extra (depending on how quick you want it and how far from MA you are). Probably be around $25.

I'll post some photos when I get back from work tonight. 1 year old so not a scratch on it.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Al

Is this Jeep specific? Or Mopar in general?

Hi, the stereo is JVC, wiring harness add-on I bought was for the JL according to Crutchfield when I bought it. Could the wiring harness be used for a different vehicle? - honestly don't know, reached the end of my knowledge.

You could check JVC model compatibility via their website though.

Not sure if that answers your question?

Honestly don't know. When I bought it there wasn't anything obvious but I think over the last 12 months something may be available. I'd have a search on here and see? Don't know if other forum members can help?

Here the link to JVC - says Sirius Ready...
https://www.us.jvc.com/car/multimedia/kw_m750bt/

Even more entertainment
The KW-M750BT's rear USB port offers a lot of options, like Pandora and Spotify app control over your phone and high-resolution FLAC file playback from a thumb drive. And if AM/FM radio isn't enough, you can add an optional SiriusXM tuner and seriously expand the scope of your entertainment choices

I know you can add aftermarket cameras (up to 2) to this stereo
