Lots of bounce with our soft Top Down last year and used bungie cords to hold it down. Still had some wear... first picture.
The dealer was able to get me a replacement top under warranty.
While waiting for the new top I wanted to try to confirm the issue was with the top and not the frame. I would hate to have the new top put on only to have the problem re-occur.
I have tried using velcro straps as recommended in the forums as well as pushing firmly on the top to have it 'lock' past the two clips that hold the bar for the bottom of the rear window. This has eliminated any bounce but I have marks on the top corresponding to the groove pattern on the bar retaining clips (Pic 2 and 3). They do go away.
Does anyone else have these marks or should I be looking into a replacement frame as well?
Thanks
