Soft top for 4 door JL

Picked up my new hardtop Wrangler yesterday. There were no dual tops available at the dealer so I decided to just buy a soft top separately - but the dealer said they're not available yet and said I might not be able to get one for up to 6 months. Has anyone else run into this?

Yeah. Bestop said they likely won’t have an JL tops til late fall or next year. Prob better off to buy from someone on this forum or craigslist if you can find one.

New orders with dual tops are delayed until at least mid March so I doubt new retail units will be out for quite some time.

I doubt you get one before summer is over if factory orders are delayed by over a month.

I ordered it last Tuesday. It's suppose to be here by the end of the week. I think it just depends on if the parts managers can/willing to make some calls pull some strings. And what they say. If your truck came with a soft top, and a tree or something fell on it and ruined it.... You can't be without a top for 6 months.

Sure, I have my receipt at home, I'll send it to you when I get home. You might need a VIN # from a Wrangler that came with one too. I'll get you the one I used, otherwise just look on cars.com and get a vin off any JL Wrangler with a soft top. Just call parts, give them that Vin and tell them you need the top. They'll have the part number.
