That Jeep pictured is a at least a 2018 or newer JL. A 2016 is a JK and a different body style.

You are indeed correct! Ask me how I know!
Drove 2 1/2 hours today after scouring the FB Marketplace for a soft top. Found one that met my requirements: Twill material, Sunrider, tinted windows, in good shape, and reasonably priced. Happy Jeeper! Easy transaction - nice seller.
Got home about 8:00 PM and started to install. Not a Happy Jeeper anymore.
Yes - it was a top off a 2018 -- JK!
I even took a diagram and checked the parts. Apparently, I didn't check closely enough. Everything was (technically) as advertised -- seller thought it was off her JL. So the year was right, but not the version.
Expensive mistake. Maybe I can recoup something for my idiocy when I put it on FB Marketplace tomorrow!
