Soft top bag. Folds nicely when you remove the hard cups.

An EMPTY soft top storage bag doesn’t fold well. There are two rigid corner cups. And voila. You can remove them and now the empty bag folds and stirs nicely.
The cups don’t seem to be needed. I suppose they protect the rigid C pillar tabs. So I didn’t throw them away.
I used a ball bungy to hold the cups which fit around the roll bar.
And now the folded empty bag will strap neatly to the roll bar or fit under a seat or in the back cubby.
you can see how small the bag folds using my size seven foot for scale.

That's a good tip, I discovered it too. I keep mine in the back cubby when I'm not using it now. I like having it with me all the time.

yes. I am in galveston and we get random rain showers. So it is prudent to keep the windows with the car. Which means you need to keep the bag with the car so it’s easy tostore the windows. And thus more likely to remove them which is the main goal.

did you realize thatwhen the windows are in the bag it will fit behind the non folded usable rear seat of a two door? Just a bit of rolling the ends of the bag to make a letter C shape and the bag fits behind the rear seat. This allows the grandkids to ride with no windows but if rainstarts I can put the windows back in.

I have cloth seats. And mold is ever present in our hot humid climate.

I also still have the carpet because this is a daily driver and carpet is a sound deadener.

so filling the carpet and upholstery with water would be a mold inducing event.

I was never able to fit the windows behind the seats with the top all the way down. However, I recently quit putting the top all the way down, I've been leaving it at 'sun rider' position. It makes no difference to the open air feel and might be even better because you don't see it in the rearview mirror. Luckily for me, my garage door is high enough that I can pull in with it like that, otherwise I'm sure I would peel it right off if it didn't.

Same here. I can pull into the garage in sunrider mode - just barely - so I probably won't be getting a lift.

As to storing the bag when the windows are inside. If you aren't using the back seat the answer is easy - hang the bag behind the front seats. But if you have back seat passengers, this doesn't work.

If you slightly roll the bag into a "C" shape you can fit it behind the back seat of a 2 door in sunrider or safari mode. The "roll and fold" doesn't require you to bend anything rigid in the windows. I wouldn't do it long term because I don't want to create a memory roll in the PVC window. But since I'm not bending the green strips nor the slider bars I'm ok with leaving the bend all day. This lets 4 people ride around with no windows. We can pop them in if it starts to rain, and when we finish driving for the day I remove the bag and bring it indoors or hang it flat behind the front seats.

I tried hanging mine behind my front seats and even then I get a bit of a bend to it. Has that not caused problems with the windows over time? Or do you take them out every night?

I feel like I want mine with me most of the time. Perhaps I hang them from the front seats every day, and when I get home lay them flat?

Mine have stayed in most of the time So far because it’s too hot in Texas. I got the Jeep in July of this year.
we are still in our hot and rainy season. Had four different ten minute pouring rainstorms today. Then hot sun.

ask me again in October thru may.

so far we are happy just cruising in sun rider mode With the front door windows rolled down.

i agree that I would probably lay them flat or hang in garage every night. And I will always carry them with me for the next eight years of mopar warranty. Then it’s an old Jeep, ditch the carpet, get vinyl seats not cloth, and let it rain
