The MyTop soft top is more insulated and quieter than the hardtop

Do you own a mytop? What is the cost compared to an FCA soft top? It looks like it's either all the way up or all the way down. Are there other position options such as the safari look on the new JL soft top?

No, but that will be my first mod. It's just like any other convertible top. Closed & Open.
I'm told they will cost $5,000

The soft top does not seem to fold down far enough at all. Looks like it really blocks the rear view.
The goal is to be same/lower than the spare that is already in the way.

Don't forget too that the JL spare is mounted lower than it is on the JK.

I get you, and the lowered spare is a good point...but man....in the video...it looked considerably higher. Maybe the Unlimited drivers are used to having it that high? I drive a two door JK and obvs the design is different but my top does go down much father than that. As did my old 2002 TJ...and 89 YJ. (though...granted...the quality of the top material has dramatically improved/thickened over the years).

It will unclip from the rail structure and go lower (similar to the JK). There is a video where Mark Allen unclips it and it looked fast and easy.

Thanks BDJeep1, do you have a link to that video?
The one I found is this one below and once again....it doesn't lower nearly low enough.
