we enjoyed your company and thanks for the awesome pics. The hike at Enchanted Rock was awesome and it gave Gary, Angie and a Bill a benchmark for some conditioning goals for future hikes. They have never really done anything like that before. I am going to try and introduce them to yoga. We will have to see how that works.

The best thing about the whole day is meeting you and Dave. Two quality people in one day. We are truly bested in our travels.

So we are just chilling and beach camping for a week or two trying to stay in some warmer weather. Trying to get so editing done.

The sky was full of color last night just after sunset.

Steak and potatoes… it was an easy dinner cooked over a beach fire.

Can’t live on steak alone to a trip into town off the beach was needed.

We do have a coyote hanging around near our beach camp site.

So I finished up this video from Michigan with stops at Land between the Lakes, and Hot Springs Arkansas then headed in to Texas.



The YouTube channel is called Adventure Abound.

It is kind of like herding cats with these guys at time. Still need to do my walk around and a general introduction video of who I am traveling with. I don’t care to be YouTube famous, I like photography way more than video. Yet friends and family back home want updates. So here I am learning how to edit better for them.

Just to be clear up front. Anything you see us talk about is all bought with our own money.

Another nice day on the beach after spending about 6 frickin hours editing video.

Sunrise did not disappoint

from the top of the dune

Gary sold off his business of 37 years to he could go with me on this trip. I asked him this morning if he ever pictured himself sitting on the beach in retirement. He said he never thought he would be doing this so I snapped this picture and sent it to him. Now he can picture himself doing this trip.

Gary’s wife Angie tell people that she is envious of herself for being able to do this trip. She loves the beach and we are spending this much time at the beach as it is her dream to wake up on the beach….. Plus it’s warm here… bonus.

Full moon tonight and I caught the moon low in the sky.

99% of all the pics and video is being done with my IPhone 12 max pro. I sold off my Nikon about six months ago. I am getting better all the time as I push the limits of its camera. Overall I am impressed by the quality I get from the phone camera.
Well off to the camp fire.

There's just so much about this part that is really cool. Great story, great picture, great friends (sold his business to hang out with you!).
