We complain but it's actually a mild summer compared to many others I've seen. No 100 degree temps until just recently and our average maximum temp should drop within a week. You'll hear us complain in February when it's been cold for a few weeks and we can't ride with the top down.
Yes it's hot. It's the humidity in Texas that's really bad. And all of the people moving here does not help.
I cannot wait to retire for rainier, cooler weather.
Yes, I will vouch for the Texas Humidity !!!! First time Jeep owner and found out real quick that 90 and Above here I stopped going topless. Texas winter will be Good time to go Topless a lot. Even when its 32 degrees I will wear coat. I love the COLD !!! :jk:

The good thing you guys have Keven is the lower humidity. Here in North Carolina we'll get a 97 degree day with a dew point of 70, and the humidity at 67%. You can go outside, stand still, and be wringing wet in 5 minutes. We've been in your great state several times, and well be through the pan handle the middle of this month. And even at 95 degrees, it's still livable as the humidity is only around 40%.

I remember basic training in Texas being hell, but I don't recall it being that hot.
It gets that hot at Camp Bullis just outside of San Antonio.

I can confirm that...it's been pretty mild this summer...so far. There haven't been many 100+ degree days yet...but August is generally the hottest month of the year here so it's not over yet. Central Texas is gonna be hot this weekend too...in fact the next 5 to 7 days are forecast 102+ degrees each day with high humidity too!

Yes, West Texas and the panhandle are dry. Not in Dallas or Houston. Gulf coast and Baja moisture is bad. They upgraded the wet bulb for calculating HVAC equipment in Dallas from 78 to 79 degree wet bulb due to humidity
