It was Black?? Really??

Yeah the choices I narrowed it down to was black or sting gray.

I always buy some combo of red and black vehicles and switch back and forth as I buy new ones. My 2019 GC SRT was red, so the next one was set to be black, but Snazzberry would've made me break the chain if it was still offered for 2023

I'm not really laughing at the color itself just that it took a coin toss for Black. Lol.

I actually like Black. Had many Black vehicles. Just don't like all the scratches and swirl marks they get. My Camaro SS and Chrysler SRT was sick in all black. He'll my first 2 cars were Black 1987 Z28 Camaro and 1987 Cutless Supreme.

Black should've been a no brainer, but I liked sting gray enough that it made it a hard choice, so coin flip or I'd have changed my mind 20x over and drove my saleguy nuts

Snazzberry really is a beautiful color.

100 miles today riding the Heritage trail in the Mojave preserve. Got a wee bit of the desert pinstriping.

This JL paint can take some abuse and still look decent. I may wash the rubicon once every 3 months and living in the desert can be hard on paint with the high winds and dirt blowing around


After trail run desert pinstriping.

12 min (entire drivers side from hood latch to tail light) to add and buff out Meguires scratch X (fine scratch & blemish remover $14 a bottle.

After 12 min add and buff off Mothers California Gold Brazilian Carnival Cleaner Wax.

At first glance maybe 95% of scratches are gone. Get to the correct angle and use a LED light and you can find them but I will be out next week exploring the mines and ghost towns in the desert once again.

I have just come to accept them sadly. Choice to go down a trail or stay off the dirt. Kentucky pin striping is vicious. The first one was painful but afterward its just more fun.

It's taken a while since to post these but these were taken from the Jeep Adventure academy in Moab back in October. If you ever go, in addition to whatever trails you take, you absolutely should drive the scenic byway U-128. It was gloomy and rainy but it was still gorgeous.
