Is there any reason to doubt the 350lb dynamic/850lb static rating of this roof rack?

I only want one when I want to install a RTT, but it seems like all the other rack systems require a lot more structure than just attaching to the gutters. What makes this so special that it can get away with it? One more crossbar to distribute the weight?

I think it's one of the few I've seen with the vertical supports across the entire roof line. Most don't do that so they can be a universal fit and not have to worry about roof lines. I would think it would be a great system.

Good eye, I did not notice that it was touching in the middle as well. Thanks!
