So I had this winch sitting in my shop. Was originally bought for my race trailer but figured what the heck see if it fits. Well it does perfectly. Used the Rustys plate

Here are some pics and wire routing.

10k. Originally bought it to bring the Mustang into the race trailer. Figured I would throw it on JL to verify fitment, Mustang is still down for a few months lol.

Thanks. I have plans to relocate the controll box under the hood and put the factory cover back on top of the bumper. Just need to figure out the clutch controll.

Yea I think I’ll have plenty of power. Especially being a new battery and not Mitch other draw. Time will tell tho.

I went with the Smittybilt XRC9500 because it was a few pounds lighter, but I really like that X20. Sharp!

I installed my Smittybilt 12K X2O with no problems on the Rusty’s Off-road winch mount plate as well. Even added the flip up license plate holder. Everything fit great! Plenty of room for all!
