I want to go up in size just a bit. ihave had a jku Rubicon with 315 -70 17 for ten years Just sold it and am waiting on my new JLUR My question is who has gone with just slighly bigger tires? maybe the BFG 34x10.50 or a 315 70 17 and WITHOUT a lift. I do wheel mine mostly back roads and some rocky stuff but generally oreinted towards exploration and work.

I can seem to find any good links on this site that hit that middle ground.

35's are only a 1" change in tire radius really, that's not so bad. What makes you want a 34" tire?

trying to avoid a lift but maximize ground clearance and still retain 95% of articulation.

I just installed the 315/70/17 BFG KO2 C Rated tires. They are a "small 35". I love them. They are almost 2" taller and 1" wider. No issues at all. No lift, no spacers!

Nitto Ridge Grappler 315/70/17 will fit just fine without a lift. I have a lifted sport and different size ridge grappler but a buddy is running this tire on his Rubicon without a lift and really likes them.

Looks great! This is exactly what I plan on doing. Any difference in the ride vs 33’s?

I got the C rated Raptor version. They ride just like the factory tires, very nice. Sold my stock tires for $900 so net upgrade was $150 plus install.
