Okay guys, what's next?
This Rubicon did not have the roll/wobble at slow speeds when it was stock and after the lift it does, is it normal or am I missing something here?
This is a Rubicon diesel and I added 35' tires, Teraflex 2.5 spacer lift (3" front 2.5 rear") adjustable track bars front and rear, took it to my alignment guy and it had 3.7 caster and the best he could get it was 4.8, so I now installed Teraflex adjustable LCA's, I have not brought it back in to fine tune it but when I installed them I set them at about 3/8" longer than the stock ones.
So, what's my next move, new shocks or is it the spacer kit and I should have gone with new springs instead?
I see a lot of talk about Accutune on here, but no way is the wife going to go for $1500 shocks!
I could swing maybe half of that, $800 or under.
This will never rock crawl and when it is off road its mainly mud and snow.

Have you owned lifted vehicles before? Some degree of increase in side to side motion is inevitable with increased height and a higher COG.

No, I have not owned a lifted one but have ridden in many and never noticed a wobble/roll, usually just stiff.
Although my bug had a 3" lift but that was a solid lift going all the way around the body, between the floor pan and body :)

What did you do with the sway bars?

You will definitely need shocks.

As you increase height, you increase leverage above the roll center, and it will have more lean especially if you don’t change the parts that adjust for that. Stiffer springs or shocks, sway bar links, or sway bar itself.

I know shocks are in the game plan, just seeing who has what and did they correct some of my issues without breaking the bank.

Not sure if it’s the camera angle but the springs look slightly bowed. May want to get that checked out.
Almost looks like the spring is not set in cups right.

The bottom isolators clock the springs on the front axle, make sure the end of the spring is against the stop on the isolator. The top isolators are tapered and have to nubs that fit in the two holes in the coil housing. When guys add spacers the top isolator often times doesn’t get clocked in the correct position and the taper is off causing the spring to bow. This is likely contributing to your boaty feeling, though it’s not cause of all of it…..better shocks will reduce the sway, but won’t completely eliminate it.

I kept thinking the same thing with the spring bowing, The ends are definitely in the spot where they should be on the bottom and I made sure that the top isolator pegs were aliened, I thought maybe there was a spot for the top of the springs like the bottom but there is not.

It’s the top that really looks wrong, I just triple checked the top again and the pegs are in the holes.
It can’t be because of the extra weight of the diesel can it?

Teraflex said it was for the Rubicon but said nothing about it working on a JL with the diesel?

If I could find a set of front springs with the same lift I already have I would get them, problem is I cannot find any that say they will work with the extra weight of the diesel?
