Where did you find that roof rack set up I cant find the 8” legs
You can find them at etrailer.com, Amazon, rhinorack.com,

Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Legs - Gutter Mount - 8-3/10" Tall - Qty 2
Item # RL210S2

They cost $125 per pair and work with the aero bars which are sold separately.

With the top open on the trails (and with the Roof top tent towards the back and a platform directly over the front seats... it's great (no wind noise at low speed). With it open around town... it's a bit louder but still fine. Highway... the wind noise is really loud. It's fine with the roof closed though. Here are a couple of pics with the tent open and closed. The one touch roof still operates with this setup. Note: I could remove the platform over the front seats entirely... but I like it as it still feels open air and it prevents anyone from getting in when I leave the top open.

With the stock Rubicon wheels/tires and suspension, what is the height of the vehicle w/ Gobi rack?

I use the rhino rack aero cross bars with 8” legs to clear my one touch top. I have a Thule SUP rack attached to the cross bars for my paddle and surf boards.

Looks like they have 4.3", 5.9" and your 8.3". Do you think the 5.9" would have worked or does it really need to be the 8.3? Thanks!

I had the 5.9” on my prior Rubicon hardtop and tried them on the one touch. I could not make them work. I also needed xtra clearance the 8.3” gives because my Thule paddle board attachment wraps around my aero bar and reduces the clearance under the aero bar by 1/2” or so.

No, I only included that pic to show you the aero bar length. Just ask them for the aero bars and the 8” legs. Etrailer is excellent to deal with and Will help you get just what you need.

Happy to finally have my Gobi rack installed. It was about a 16 week wait for this... but I'm so happy with the results. Can't wait for spring so I can put my Roof Top Tent on and do some overlanding in the new rig!

@Dengar Awesome! Nice shot looking up, thanks for sharing. Have you considered the wind deflector?

Our long term plan is a tent and trailer w/ the toys but out of the gate I am going to put two bikes and 2 SUPS or 2 Kayaks up there.

I ordered before anyone had heard of covid and am hours away from catching my rack.
