Sky one touch rattling..driving me nuts!

Picked up my JLUR last Thursday, on Monday I noticed a rattling noise that’s been driving me crazy..just now as we head to dinner I let my wife drive and I went in the back....the source seems to be the latch near the driver side removable window for the sky touch...not 100% but seemed to get better once I undid it.

I paid 55k after all discounts and it drives me nuts that at 400 miles this 61k car is already rattling...love it otherwise

Take it to the dealership and they will fix it. Mine had the same issue on the passenger side. It’s quiet now unless I hit a large bump/pothole

I had the same thing. Get a little grease or wd40 and lube where the latch on the hard top and the pin on the window handle meet. I did it on all 4 latches and been silent ever since. Going on 5 months

Right where the handle grabs onto the top. It’s metal on metal so if you grease it it should stop. Also make sure the locking handle screw that holds it to the window is tight. I’ll take a pic for u tomorrow of mine if u still don’t see it

I didn't really ask. The delaership is close to my work and zero hassle so I let them handle everything

correct , a little grease on both and mine stopped. Not sure why they put metal on metal when you know it will make noise. If they were rubber coated that would have solved it all.

Sweet, did you grease the peg or just the top? I may try putting a rubber pad there too...excited to see if it solves my issue...appreciate you brother!

grease both and see if it works.. Also I checked all the bolts that hold the top on around the bottom where it attaches to the jeep. I hope it works for you.

Ditto. I normally just pull the window and reseat it every week or so. It seems to quiet it down.
