Sky One-Touch Power Top Priced at $3,995

Its the storage factor and the hassle factor. The hard panels are nice, I like the open feel, but am concerned about scratching them when they are off. I like the glass better than the plastic windows. Additionally, if I take off the back side windows, and the tops, I'll be filling up the back with Jeep parts rather than camping gear, luggage, groceries etc. I take friends in the back seat and need the cargo space for cargo, not jeep parts. So to be able to open the top without taking up cargo space is a bonus.

All my life I have been willing to work all day to avoid a 5 minute repetitive task. And its true I'm getting more decrepit too!

Might as well get the vehicle according to how I need to use it. Whats another few thou if I'm enjoying it for a decade or more?

I will order my new JL when the top becomes available.

Happy St. Patty's Day and still no clue from the local dealerships when the Power Top will be available...argh! I assume that ordering one with just the base soft top and then trying to order in a Power Top once they are ready is not a wise decision? I would imagine it has to be wired, etc. but thought I would ask.

Sincerely frustrated that the short MN summer is approaching and no Jeep in the driveway...

Nope, you can't throw it on like you would with a hard/soft top.

I'm resigned to the fact that the power top will take months and by then it might be good to wait till the 2019's come out to get the off road pages...

When is that, that the next year models come out, August?

With so many delays with colors, power top, off road pages, 2 doors with any configuration. I would have preferred Jeep to say these options would be available in 2019 models.

I really think they should’ve just taken 2018 off (like they did in ‘96 I believe), sell the leftover JKs, and actually have a smooth launch. This has been terrible!!!

The current thinking is no... Having said that - this is a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited... and somebody, someday will make or offer this...

Its possible that in the future Jeep may sell the top as a part, but if they were to do that, I bet they'd have to have dealer install. They say its tricky to get the two sides aligned so the top does not bind.
