I have had a 2020 Rubicon since March with a Sky One-Touch Power Top and does anybody's radio cut out for a second
when the top first opens all the way and when the roof starts to close, the dealer lost and can't find anything yet
they have replaced the radio and the power top motor and sensors so far as of yesterday has anyone had this issue
and been able to get it fixed ???

Thanks

Is it only when you are listening to XM/satellite radio? The satellite radio antenna is located on top of the rollbar. You're likely getting interference with the signal reception when the metal frame of the top passes over the antenna.

No when the top goes all the way back and stops, weather you are listening to satellite, fm etc. the radio just cuts out for a second and then comes back on and then it does it again when it starts to close from the full open position

Mine has done the same since new. Picked it up in Oct. Never really bothered me as it's just a split second ...

Mine does it and also has been from day 1. I think there's been a post or 2 about it. Doesn't bother me as it's really not even a full second, almost just a hiccup.

Yup, mine does that as well (since day 1). It is almost like all the current is cut/diverted from the radio to the top's motor when you click the open/close of the top.

I have a '19 that does the same thing. Was wondering about it until I saw the below:

The manual says "a slight pause in audio may be heard when opening and closing the Power Sliding Top as a result of the UConnect system switching between Power Top Closed and Power Top Open audio modes."
Came here to say that. My convertible mustang did the same thing, so it’s common in the industry.

What you hear is on a slight delay from when the signal is received. I'm sure it's from the signal being interupted when the front frame/structure passes over the antenna even though it may take a couple seconds to get to your ears.
