I'm looking for skid plates for my 2019 JLU Rubicon to cover the entire belly. So far I have found Hard Rock skid plates. Looks like an awesome system. Covers everything.

Anyone using anything else? Any other company out there that offers the same or more coverage?

Toyota in the past, just started owning a JL :D
Could anyone please advise us how much rock bumping hitting can the stock skid plate/underbody protection parts take safely? Or is it safe to run some Moab offroad trails that's rated 5/9? (Assuming a stock JL Rubicon. I certainly don't mind any scratch, chipping, or even slight bending on the underbody protection parts, but am worried about damaging driveshaft or any moving/expensive parts.)

Just watch the exhaust loop and front diff drain bolt. There are a lot of good after market skids out there that will do just fine. I’ve heard good things about the Quadratec aluminum skids that just came out

Sorry for not putting all my vehicle info in. I'm used to the JK's where everyone has the same engine.

I have a V6.

There's a few options for the belly pan skid plates ...

Artec has both aluminum and steel

HardRock 4x4 has alumunum (but they weight quite a bit for aluminum)

Metalcloak has steel

Quadratec has their own version as well

From the research i've done, it seems that the Artec aluminium set are the lightest, coming in just under 90 lbs, but also are the most $$$

any additional feedback on function, areas of improvement, or ease of install?
Ease of install is a breeze if you’re running a short arm lift... I’m running RockKrawler’s long arm setup so some cutting was needed to clear the LongArm brackets. Haven’t taken her offroad yet so I will report back w function
