You can typically always get this deal (or for 6 months) by calling and refusing the pay the full amount. I have heard others get it down to $2 a month. All depends on the amount of effort in haggling that you want to do.

Just remember, that the "free trial" is for a different Sirius plan. You actually lose several stations and numerous sports stations. (That may not make a difference to some).
Just wanted to make it clear they are not the same plans.
