After reading his review, I said I'd pass because he said the mirrors supplied by Lange were "junk plastic". Look at the pic of the "junk plastic" mirror he posted. For $90+ the mirror should be better then that piece of plastic crapola.
But if it keeps them from vibrating like the other mirrors because they are lighter and made of plastic than isn't that a good thing? Let's face it. A significant portion of our Jeeps is made of cheap plastic.

Still debating on whether to get these or pay the money for the CMM mirrors.

Saw the Lange offering on a JLU just yesterday. Saw the CMM mirrors on a JLU in April at Jeep Beach 2018.

Can tell you that if I were in the market for a set of mirrors, I'd be buying the CMM mirrors.....

Anyone have a link to the CMM mirrors?

In regard to the CMM mirrors... Indeed I have spewed that if I needed/wanted mirrors that the CMM's are what I would go with.. They sure are...

Just want to make clear to all that what I find acceptable in regard to side mirror visibility and what you find acceptable may be very very different.

Do know that the CMM side mirrors do not have the type of rearward visibility that you would find on a side mirror offering that had a larger size mirrors for example.

I sat in a JLU with the CMM's and viewed the rear with the CMM's and they were acceptable to me. Of course, I'm used to my Harley Fatboy side mirrors which are very good, but also rather small in size.

Anyway, say an older guy/gal that is used to and requires a large field of vision, etc....... the CMM's may not be your cup of tea so to speak. Then again, they may be. I just don't want my passion for a product, etc. to lead you a stray.

Thanks! They look rugged too; like they won't fall apart. I also like the GoPro accessibility.
It seems the guy at CMM is very GoPro oriented lets say..

These CMM mirrors, when you see them installed are impressive. They look like they just grew out of the JL. Talk about a solid mount. And yes, the ball mount for most any ball mount video recording device, phone, GPS, forward facing camera, etc..

After the initial install, do you need a tool to install either the Lange or CMM? I had a mirror on my jk that threaded right into one of the boltholes near the windshield. Took 15 seconds to install, loved it. I usually put my doors back on every day, so I'm trying to find something that will be just as easy.

For the Lange you do not need a tool after the initial install. I don’t know about Cmm.
