Received my Lange mirrors today. All in all I am happy with the mounting bracket. Well made and comes with the needed new hardware. The mirror itself is junk plastic. I had some mirrors from my old JK that I used instead. Mirrors do vibrate while driving, but I think it is not the mirror itself but the flimsy cowl corner not being sturdy enough. I would say I don’t feel like I got $100 worth. Update. In all fairness to Lange, I installed the supplied mirrors and had no vibration whatsoever. I guess it couldn’t hold the heavier mirrors

In all fairness to Lange, I put the supplied mirrors on just to test and there was no vibration. I guess that the Jeep just can’t handle the heavier mirrors.

I’m not here to defend anyone but you might want to update your original review post with this information. If people only read your first review they will think the product is garbage and that you NEEDED to use your old mirrors.

After reading his review, I said I'd pass because he said the mirrors supplied by Lange were "junk plastic". Look at the pic of the "junk plastic" mirror he posted. For $90+ the mirror should be better then that piece of plastic crapola.

I had quick release mirrors for the JK. They work pretty well (legal at least) in the door check screw hole on the JL

Are these the JK mirrors that mount to the A-Pillar but installed without the mount? How’s the fitment/vibration? Would you recommend this over the current options available? (Outside of the CMM ones of course)

They are the JK mirrors without the mounts. I just wanted to wait a bit longer to see what hits the market before I spend any money. These work well enough for now but I would only recommend them if you already have a pair. I did cut some rubber grommets to keep from scratching the paint, so that keeps them from vibrating too much.

I ended up ordering the Kentrol mirrors because I liked the slightly smaller mirror frame size compared to the Barricade and Olympic options. And if you look at the video from cjponyparts they look great and seem to be made to stay in place compared to some of the reviews I found on the others that they move or vibrate some. I will keep everyone updated on how they do.
