My wife's 2018 Jeep JL was totaled by swerving to avoid hitting a big buck. I ordered a brand new 24 Jeep for her. Her last jeep we put black coated N-Fab side steps on it. In a years time the black paint was peeling and flacking off, they looked terrible. What do you guys/gals recommend for side steps that won't look like crap in a year or two? Thanks!

I just installed the Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders and I love them. Only had them for a few days, however, so I am hoping I will be happy with them in a year, heh. Probably helps that I got the all the add-ons. The armor plating, lights, and door delete kit.

I kept my Rubi-Rails and added these. I haven't done any nutso offroading to the point that I'd need to remove them by pulling the pin then reinstalling with the pin afterwards. They almost complete hide away but are easy to use. They come in a set of two: M.O.R.E. Hide-A-Step; Black

I had the gloss black powder coated n-fab steps on my Taco. They lasted a year and started to rust. They warrantied them and sent me the black textured ones and was able to get 4 years on them before they started to show a little rust.

I got these as recommended by @ExpeditionBuilds who also offers a discount code. My wife rolled her eyes when I got these but now says “best mod ever.” Not cheap but as the saying goes, buy once cry once.
