Welcome! Your rubicon will come with rails. There’s a pinned thread in the “Exterior” sub-forum that has a bunch of reviews and photos.

Thank you weeitsmikelee. I probably should specify steps. I will take a look.

The stock option that comes on the Rubicon are the rock rails. They are good for covering the pinch weld and protecting the frame from boulders when rock crawling. They are also typically the first thing to show up on the forum as a "rubi takeoff". There are hundreds of options out there for steps in various configurations. One that I prefer is the Mopar performance rock rail. Basically the same thing that already comes on the Jeep just extends around 3 inches to give a little step without losing clearance. Anyway, the world is your oyster.

Just replaced the factory rock rails with these Aries power boards.

Those look awesome! Just the look I’m wanting. I found the ACE sliders but really is overkill for what I will be doing. Think I might see what a machine shop would charge for your setup. Thanks

I ordered the Performance Rock sliders by Mopar with my build. They have nice step for the little lady to get in.

Like it newjlu. I am ordering the same fuel wheel. Can you tell me your wheel/tire setup?

Vapor Fuel Wheels 20x10 with Toyo Open Country 35/12.50/20 I had installed the Mopar 2.0 lift by my dealership. I wanted the warranty.

They installed Wheels and tires too.

My Jeep came with rock sliders. I never intended to do challenging off roading so I thought about swapping them for a step. However they have saved my Jeep a few times off road so I will now keep them.

If you are not doing challening off roading, then steps are better.

They look great. I was a bit off, I am looking at the fuel assault wheel. Not sure if I’m keeping the 33’s or changing out for 35’s. I understand I would be ok with 35’s just no tough trails or climbing. Which is not the plan. Do you need to upgrade the tire carrier if you have 35’s?

Sorry forgot to add the Performance Rock sliders with Step Assist by Mopar are the ones I ordered. The factory rails have no step on them. Needed small step space for the little lady.
