shut off while in Drive, wont start or shift into Park.

I also want to add that when you park, if you push run/stop before shifting into Park and then shift into Park, you are still in ACC mode and the batteries will still drain quickly.

I did this, and got a message " accessories on" ; I put it in Park, restarted, and then shut off. All good after that. Talk about Ritual in the 21st Century ! My old key start, carbed vehicles responded to threats and starter taps with a hammer.

If you don't step on the brake, you can cycle the ignition to run and then to stop without actually starting the engine.

Hope those that come across the link you posted do not view the video and think wha t they saw in the video is let's call it a sensible way to proceed. As it is absolutely not... I encourage all to do your homework in regard to this stuff..
