I think the dark gray is still going to get lost. Do you have a match for the color of the Jeep logo on the fender?
What about a reflective black? It would still be subtle but would be more noticeable. White would be nice and bold. :like:

The issue with reflective is applying it wet and forming it to the contours. It is really only meant for flat surfaces.

Yes, that's what the matte dark grey is (as offered in my previous reply).
The 3D Jeep emblem is gloss metallic; according to my 3M vinyl wheel, the Gloss Charcoal Metallic (1080-G211) is a close match. I need to think about it, but the matte black on Ocean Blue seems a bit too subtle.

On my Rubicon they seem more matte finish and I began keeping some of that material around for that usage, but you may be right about it disappearing into the paint on ocean blue. They most definitely could be done in 3M 1080 Series Gloss Charcoal Metallic if you like.

Looks like my Jeep logo is more satin than matte or gloss. And of course 3M doesn’t do Charcoal Metallic in satin. Looks like I’ll go gloss.

Whoa! Contradictory statements!!! :).

But yes, I know I will remove them some time, but for now, for some reason my kids want me to keep them on. They’re so worried people won’t know it’s a Wrangler. Lol. My attempts to assure them people will indeed know, have failed.

Edit to @Trauma PA - yes, I dipped my emblems black. Can’t stand the chrome.

The Matt Black does have some reflective value to it while it is very subtle much of the time in the right light it really stands out. This is Matt Black on Black
