IMO, inside is best so that the wipers aren't constantly trying to remove it.

I really like this. I almost bought a Recon version of the JK but asking price was way too high for me at the time.

Yah thats what i thought! Just wanted a second opinion. My gf got 2 made for us, but i think they look like they are applied from the outside.
