Has anyone thought of applying black vinyl to their upper rear door - to "extend" the hard top and give it the appearance of a pickup with a shell?
I tried to draw what I am referring to, but my photoshop skills on a phone aren't all that.
If anyone can create a better render, or have real life examples, I'd appreciate it.

I'm no expert with photo software, but here's what I came up with.

I've got to admit, I'm kinda diggin' it. It gives it the look you described (pickup with a shell). I really want a J6, which will never happen, and I don't want a 4 door Gladiator. This may be the next best thing.

3 questions on this unique build:

Are the decals a custom job or is that something they sell? Looks great!

Are those 315/70r17 Bfg's?

Are the quadratec wheels the gunmetal or silver color? Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the delay on this - yes they were a custom job - $220 from Pixel Hut - took some work to get it right but now that Pixel Hut has it down, maybe the price would be less? I had him fade the colors into one another and am happy with it.
The tires are 285/75/17 BFG TAs and the wheels are the Quadratec's in silver - the tires/wheels have run really well for me.

Sharing a few pics of the decals I have installed so far. Wrangler hood decals, a retro 4 wheel drive decal, a few great smoky mountain decals along with a Cade’s cove Jeep outpost decal and a Eugene the Jeep decal I was able to transfer to my JL from my JK. Show me yours.
