Worked with Don @pixeldecals to customize a few decals to help honor my 88YO FIL and his service in the Korean War.

He added the Tropic Lightning shoulder sleeve insignia to the 25th INFANTRY decal.
He also altered his current “Sarge Edition” from Master Sergeant (3up/3down) to Staff Sergeant (3up/1down) as the latter was Dad’s formal rank at the end of the war.

As his primary driver lately I now see his face light up every time he steps up into the shotgun seat. Then he proceeds tells me another story about the war. He’s one proud vet!

Dad passed away peacefully at home with family & friends on 3/30/21. His funeral was 4/6/21 with military honors. It was a very touching ceremony. “Sarge”’was honored to follow his Sarge to the cemetery.
We received notice that his memorial marker was installed today so we went and paid our respects. Thank you again for your work to make Sarge’s decals so special for him as I drove him to his appointments (and joy rides).

Trying to go easy on the decals. Hydro Blue is so flashy on its own, you really don't need them. But I had these California flag ones on my JK and decided to do similar on the JL...

I'm still iffy about it. I think the decals may be a little more clashy on the blue than they were on my black JK. I'm gonna give it a few weeks to see if it works for me and if I don't love it, I'll pull 'em back off.

And then there's this... which is great advice in general for the desert:

I might add a chaser to the windshield Jeep, but that's going to be it for the decals. I'll stick to patches on the headliner and decals on my cooler for all my other sticker cravings.

The flag should be positioned in the manner that it gives the illusion of it blowing in the wind.

Maybe on that decal for the drivers-side, that was the "sticky" side down and the decal had to be applied in that manner.........

But at least its the flag of a BAD ASS, wonderful Country!!! God Bless the USA!!
