I sold my first Jeep 26 years ago to buy my wife's engagement ring.

+1 for Kent at Peterson CJDR in Nampa. Excellent experience all around.

Great looking two door!
Thanks!

Bought her from Jeep Bahrain and will drive back to Kuwait.

Kuwait dealer specs didn't do it for me.. Only 18' models, no steel bumper, no keyless entry, beige interior only and no HD battery group with the aux switches..

Picked mine up this week. ‘19 Ruby in Granite with the 2.0 power plant.

After one day and 150 miles they had to tow it to the dealer to fix the tranny. :(
It decided not to shift into any gear.

I spoke with the service advisor at the end of the day. They think they have an idea on the cause. The mechanic was taking my Jeep home with him “to test it out”.

I’ve been Jones’n for a JL ever since I heard of the redo two years ago. Short story long, I was at an All Jeep car show in spring of ‘15. The first rig I saw there was a silver JKUR with lift and 35’s. It was lust at first sight. I joined the SWB 4x4 pickup crowd in the 70s after trading up from my 1950 CJ-3A, and had been a 4by truck guy ever since. Until shortly after that car show, when I asked my brother to go with me to look and Jeeps; I had to get that silly Jeep idea out of my head. I drove home my JK that very day (so much for will power). In retrospect that was BY FAR the most expensive impulse I’ve ever succumbed to. I didn’t even recognize the differences between a Sport, Sahara or a Rubicon: they were all beautiful canvases waiting to be customized and enjoyed. My impulse buy was a silver Sahara Unlimited, it had a 6-sp, and I thought that would be a good choice for a weekend toy. Well I loved the Wrangler so much that it soon became my daily driver while my 2006 Cummins powered Quad Cab patiently waited at home for me. With Sahara gears and a manual, the Jeep was embarrassing me nearly every time we went anywhere. I stalled it more times than a newly minted driver. So, two years ago I re-geared to 4.56’s; that helped a ton, but still in the local Seattle traffic the manual was wearing on me. So I started dreaming of a JL, and with the encouragement of my grade-school best friend we both started dreaming of the new JLs. Yesterday I went out on a motorcycle ride and figured it would be safe that way; to just look at the rows of Jeeps in the sun, and try to decide on a color. Then I saw this..... a fully loaded Ocean Blue JKUR, with factory lift and 35” BFG KM3s. It kinda hard to negotiate a deal when you are simply enamored with a rig. Fortunately the dealer was willing to deal and we quickly came to a happy conclusion.

Allow me to introduce my newest canvas. I already have Rockslide Engineering power step/sliders in the mail, and until I get bored with the upgrade Rubicon wheels I have a set of wheel-spacers on the way. I’m already missing that more aggressive look like my JK had. Let the games begin!
