Hello all,

I recently got the mopar ‘2”’ lift and 37” BFG KO2’s installed on procomp 17x9 7069 series rims.

I am posting these pictures to help others make a decision as I would have appreciated the same during my research phase.

It is worth noting this is my first Jeep though I have reasonable mechanical experience from the past.

I’ll start with the normal flat ground photos:

I don’t have a spare tire carrier yet, it seems they are in short supply. The 37” spare does fit in the back but you will need to put the rear seats down.

Then I set the tires straight and lifted the front passenger tire using a forklift:

I neglected to get a front or offside photo at max lift but the tires will rub the trim at this point.

I am thinking of installing longer bump stops to prevent this or try heating and remolding the trim.

Then I set the tires at full lock to see how high I could lift it before the tire hits the bumper:

Hopefully this helps shed some light on what running 37s looks like and means.

In hindsight I should have measured the max heights and corresponding distance to bump stops.

Thank you guys, any advice you can give regarding improvements to this setup to prevent rubbing and maximize articulation would be appreciated.
How are the rokblokz on the 4xe? Do they fit as expected? I understand the fenders and fit for 4xe rubicon are different than regular rubi. Looking to order some if they'll work.

Started off with 35s and stock rims then upgraded to 37s with 18 rims. Tire width is 13.50 so wider than normal.
Also have the Mopar 2" lift. Not much so probably going to add teraflex spacers on top of it

Love your Wrangler! What is the width of your 18's?

Thanks man. It’s 13.50 wide so one inch wider than normal so it gives it that real beefy look on top of having rims with backspacing
Nice. I have a Stingray 4xe leaving the factory in the next couple of days and I'm planning out the build. I'm thinking that I'll do the Black Rhino Warlord 18X8's with 37X13.50 Toyo Open Country MT tires and the AEV 2.5" Dual sport RT lift. Why did you choose to go with the Mopar lift?

That’s the million dollar question. I’m actually in the process of swapping it out for a metal cloak 3.5. So kinda a waste of money.
But the reason why is quite frankly when I bought this back in May 21 the mopar lift was the only one available. And being so new I didn’t want to jump in an aftermarket and run the risk of some warranty issues by using a lift that wasn’t authorized. Plus at the time everyone was raving about the mopar lift being closer to a 3 to 4 inch lift. Which is true on some JLs but definitely not the case on the heavier 4xe. In fact it’s barely an inch lift to me. Now almost a year later there are some official lifts authorized for the 4xe and that’s where I am. Hoping to recover some cost when I sell the mopar lift but doubt it.

You’ll like the MC lift, very happy with ours.

Here’s my new 4XE Rubi with a complete Teraflex 4.5” kit, Falcon 3.3s, and 38” Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The parking brake cables are a bit tight at full droop, but still totally functional. I love it!

This thing is a beast! Seriously, i was kinda scared when i was riding it!
Tks Winx! I never knew a lifted Jeep could perform like that!

I was struggling between a 35s or 37s, but now, it is about 37s vs 38s...

damn it... wait till i see the quotation, maybe then i would cool down...
I still need to feed my kids..

100% skip 35s.

It’s like a boat, you’ll always want bigger, so go a size up the first time.

Yeah, that's logical...
So, what i am hearing is, don't go 37s 3.5" lift ... and get 35s 4.5" lift, which would be ugly, but eventually 38s..?

hahahha, why is making a decision so hard!?

Once you go adjustible arms and TBs the only lift difference is springs, which are relatively cheap, and basically no cost on initial purchase. A lot cheaper to go bigger tires first then switch later.

BTW before someone asks, no those are not stock wheels. They appear to be but are JK Rubicon Hardrock widened to 8.5" X 17 with BFG K02 37's. And yes, it gets driven, I clean it after every use.

Thought I would also post, as you can see the drag link and steering link are aftermarket. That is because the Chrysler set is not greasable and also pops as you steer and go over bumps. Shake your Jeep (any of them) from pushing on the front tire sideways with your foot and you'll hear it pop. I replaced all this to eliminate the OEM flaw and tighten everything up. Dealer admits the issue
