I’m a Warn guy, put an 8000 lb Warn winch on my CJ7 in 1980, sold it on my 03 TJR, in June and it never failed me. A Warn VR 10 is on my JLUR. Put a Warn 8k on my 2007 FJ Cruiser, it now is on my 2014 FJ, never an issue..

What's the consensus on a winch cover? I've not been able to find one that will fit my setup. If it covers the winch, it's too difficult to get on and off. I'm not convinced its necessary with the winch being set down low as it is.

I can’t get the Warn neoprene cover over mine either, just not enough room...maybe I haven’t tried hard enough though.

I've got one of these on my Smitty:

It really isn't necessary for water protection considering that the winch is waterproof but I don't want the California sun to weaken the synthetic line over time.

Warn Zeon 10S Platinum on Smittybilt XRC GEN2 bumper.

Sadly we can’t avoid having a number plate in the U.K.

Great setup John (as you know ;) ) ... just noticed what appears to be a hood lock in your center grille opening. Was that standard or did you add?

It’s standard OE fitment for U.K. models, maybe all export models I’m not sure.

Whats the difference between the Warn VR and VR-Evo's? The Evo's appear to be the same style as the Zeon's, but presume some difference?
