Should I repair chip in grill?

Truck in front of me ran over a pop can and flug it at me. The corner caught the front grill and sliced a 1cm chunk out. Its going to get ripped off eventually, either naturally or by me accidentally when washing.

Would you repair this now? If I get work done will it be noticable? Is there anything I can do myself to fix this?

A thought that had me flipping back and forth about getting a clear bra. The black grill costs half as much though, and chips will continue outside of the bra's reach.

Grill is plastic... so no rust possibility. Do agree on touch-up paint to spot if needed. Easy fix as you state.

If it were me touch up pen, maybe. I have always been sensitive to this stuff on my vehicles, but I am going to try to control that with the Jeep. I either learn to let the little stuff go or never take it off road and... we’ll its a Jeep! Gotta do some off-roading

It's a raised gouge, and I can't push it flat now. Would a touch up pen help? Should I pick the chip out and fill in the gap?

Save the repair money and put it toward a winch in front of the chip. That will cover the area and add value/function.
