Should I just tighten down the bolts of the water pump?

I am planning a 2000 mile trip to Texas next month and keep reading about this horrible leak. Is there an easy way to just tighten them up?

Couldn’t hurt to do a torque check on them. Just got to take things off to access the bolts, but it’s easy to get in there.

No need to take anything off. But you can check them and tighten if needed.

Have some blue Loctite ready. If they’re loose, pull them out and re-install with some loctite.

For anyone wanting to look, just lay on the ground and scoot yourself right under the FL part of the Jeep (about under the steering box). Look up and you'll see the lower radiator hose and where it goes to the water pump. It'll leak where the aluminum housing bolts to the water pump. If leaking, there will be pink crusty stuff all around it.
