@AnnDee4444 Thank you for this spreadsheet. The line for the 392 springs are slowly growing. In the meantime, where would you recommend I go to see the comparisons (in regards to length or amount of lift) between the standard Rubicon springs and these 392s?
Unfortunately I've given up on trying to predict factory spring rates/lifts. There are far too many variables, and without some documents from Jeep it would require physically collecting all springs and measuring.

I hear you! It would be great to see Jeep use the same numbering system on all of their springs to get a better comparison. Right now, trying to see what is the equivalent "normal" Rubicon spring number is to the 68481303 on the 392. Have you seen that one before?

Sorry, I can't help with that.

You could try getting the VIN of a 392 you want the springs from (from a dealership website), then ask @AllMoparParts.com for the spring numbers.

Agreed. Would be great to have a chart from Jeep with:
- Free length
- Rate
- Wire diameter
- Solid height and/or Minimum Working Height (MWH)

Do you have any part numbers for those 392 shocks? And what options does your Wrangler have vs the 392 takeoff shocks?

I have a '22 Sahara Unlimited Diesel, HT, Tow, plastic bumpers and have been trying to source a replacement shock (seems the p/n for the Mopar 2" kit diesel specific fox shocks proved unavailable). I have the Teraflex Leveling kit installed (2" front, 1.5" rear spacers) and the stock shocks (while not riding harsh), took a ton of negotiations to extend enough to remount after the spacer install.
I don't have the 392 shock part number in front of me, but they are all over marketplace and Craigslist.

Mine has stock diesel Rubicon springs, 392 shocks, 392 sway bar links, XR wheels and 35" ridge grapplers.

I do need to lift it though. While on road it's amazing, Off-road the shocks are not in the ideal stroke location at ride height as I have more droop than up travel. If I lift 1" it will be about 50/50, and lift between 1.5" and 2" will get me to 60/40 where I want to be.

I have ordered an extra short 392 front spring to see if that gets me where I want to be, plan B is to order a set of Rusty's 2" springs and try them. (Or I could go cheap and just do a 1.5" Teraflex spacer).

The diesel does not need bump extension, has longer jounce tubes factory. I checked it as well without springs and it was perfect. I do have the Metalcloak duraspring bumps as well, but not on the front yet.

If you are looking for springs, I will have my factory diesel Rubicon coils soon possibly. I also have a set of 392 springs. I'm trying out different springs to get it optimized.

The shocks are amazing on the Diesel, may perform different on a 2 door or non-diesel.

Yup.. didn't realize you had a diesel. My 2.0 is at the extreme opposite end of the weight spectrum.

The duraspring bump stops have interested me for a while too. But don't want to make too many changes at the same time.

Sounds like you may already know, but per the Modern Jeeper podcast (Matson and Cory from MC), the Durospring jounces add about 1" of bump stop extension because they are still an inch thick at full compression.

Yep, thats why I am not using them in front. I only have less than 3" up travel in front due to the longer jounce tubes. with the Durasprings installed up front there was like 3/4 " clear before they touched the bottom pad at rise height since the are longer than factory. so until I do some sort of lift they are sitting in a box.

Almost sounds like you won't need them (they'll give too much bump) even after you lift. Have you thought about just upgraded jounce's, like TFs?

They are longer, but (at least as far as I can gather from their description) the TF's don't add bump extension by "bottoming out" like the Durosprings.

I'm assuming that because they still recommend the same bump extension in their kits that include them as they do in the kits that don't.

Small update on spring numbers... There are 47 different front springs listed for a 3.6 JLUR the JL on allmoparparts.com, all starting with 682, 683, 684, or 685. This doesn't include the AB/AC/AD/AE revisions... If you take those into account there have been at least 141 different front springs made for the JL.
