I recently filled out and sent in a Shock Quote Request Form to Accutune Offroad. It had all the info on my 2018 2 door stock Wrangle Sport JL and specified my type of on and off road driving. I requested any shock recommendations.

The response I received was very disappointing.

“What kind of shocks are you looking for? Fox/King? 2.0/2.5? How much lift? Adjustable non adjustable?”

The lift (none) was on the form and if I knew what shocks I wanted I could just order them from Amazon!

You realize these guys custom-valve socks for each customer? They assume you have a brand preference and some idea of features you want. Then they valve them to your specifications.

The possibilities are literally endless unless you give them a starting point.

We have them build custom shocks for us. They need so much info to valve them just right. We went with JK fox 2.0 adj resi shocks and they modified them for the JL and took into account all the weight we added with the dual batteries, winch etc. I would encourage you to give them a call. It’s a business full of great guys who’s passion is wheeling and putting out an excellent product. So much can be missed in text but I see where the frustration can come from.
