So I just received my Fox ATS stabilizer and the bracket is free floating in the box. Also the stabilizer box just had a shipping label stuck to it. Am I overreacting thinking the damage in the pics is worth being pissed over? Nice little chunk missing. It's a 400 dollar stabilizer....

Ask yourself this. Did they ask you if you wanted to buy a discounted package because of some damage? My guess is no they did not ask you that. So as much as it may aggravate you I would say return it. Heck.... even be forward and ask for a discount for your trouble. Asking is free!!!! Taking junk should not be your goal.

Contact the company and let them know. They might give you a discount. As for the damage? It goes under your Jeep. It's going to get nicked all the time.

Unless you are strictly a cars and coffee kinda Jeep guy.

I'd be annoyed by that, too, and my OCD would go in to high gear. But ask yourself...

Does it affect the functionality?
Will I ever look up under the vehicle at my steering stabilizer?

If the answer is Yes to either question, return it. Bottom line is, it'll probably take worse damage during froading.

I agree with the others, I think a discount of some kind is in order.

You received a damaged product. From whom did you order? A reputable retailer will replace it.
It's purely cosmetic, but you paid for it.

Send that motherf*cker back. I received the same stabilizer from @Quadratec a week ago, securely packaged.

Based solely on the principal of having a new condition item delivered to you when you buy new, then yeah, I'd want a replacement. Based on the real world idea of knowing that a Jeep stabilizer is going under the Jeep, full open to the road, rocks, and dirt all those possible hazards, then no, I'm not sure it even matters.

Principle is simple.
Regardless of where this thing is being used, you paid new price for a new item, you should expect it to be in new condition when delivered to you.
Otherwise I would have just bought 2nd hand for 2nd hand prices.
