When installing a B&M shifter I broke the bushing that snaps on the ball on the end of the shifter (where the cable snaps to)
Does anyone know of a part that’ll cross reference? Or is dealer my only option?

I don't know if a cross-reference, but I'm looking forward to your review of that shifter!

well……. We put the oem bushing back together with jb plastic weld and it’s working but unsure how long. I will be calling the dealer for a new one tomorrow.
the shifter feels much more solid, short precise shifts. I love it, but they should’ve sent a bushing with it.

Were you able to locate a replacement bushing? I broke mine as well when installing the B&M Shifter. My local dealer parts said the pivot bushing cannot be ordered separately, only as part of the shifter or shift linkage. I’ve also been checking for Jeep JL savage parts and have had no luck there.

Man I just spent an hour trying to find a listing for that part with no luck. I’ve only found complete shifter assemblies, new and then used on eBay. I was hoping to find them so I could just buy a new one before installing a new B&m shifter. Seems like a fragile part. Any idea how to remove one carefully?

That's what I ended up doing. I ordered the complete shifter from eBay and plan on selling everything minus the bushing. I think why mine broke is because it was so cold. it was 26 degrees when I started working on it. I should've cut the shop heat on several hours before I started. On the one I purchased I sat it in front of a space heater in the house then rolled it off with pliers. The new shifter is great! Love It! Even with $150 in a bushing I'm happy.

Good tip. I'll make sure its plenty warm or I'll just bring the shifters into the house for that part. Maybe I'll 3D print a very simple tool that is sized to engage more of the ball at one time to lift it off evenly.
