Hello!

I installed my Tazer Mini last night and made the following changes:

- tire size to 37"
- hood alarm on
- turn signal cam on
- disabled the park when moving door open
-disabled TPMS

I did a reboot and 2 sleep cycles as outlined in the instructions.

About 15 min later I took my JL to the store to test the accuracy of the speedometer. When I pulled out of the driveway the Serv 4WD light came on once I was in drive, however, the TPMS and turn signal cam and speedometer seemed to work fine. I went into the store, came out and drove home and the turn signal can stopped working, as did my backup cam. In its place was a blue screen that I believe said Video System Unavailable and the Serv 4WD light turned on again once in drive. I went home and did a full reset, which fixed the camera issue, but the serv 4WD light has remained. Any suggestions on which settings I should check (admittedly I may have unintentionally changed a setting, but I didn't access the Offroad menu, so I'm not sure how likely that is)

I should note that this is a week old 21 JLUR for reference and that I did update the Tazer to the most recent firmware prior to installiny.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

The first thing to do in unmarry the Tazer and do a full reboot several times to see if the issue corrects itself, kind of a PITA but it will eliminate that as a possible problem, like I tell my better half all the time when she has computer or phone issues……REBOOT THE DEVICE…

Thanks! I did try a single reboot at first, and a few sleep cycles. Heeding your advice I tried 6 additional reboots 3 sleep cycles each. I checked all of my wires just to be safe and don’t see any visibly broken or pinched. This may just call for a trip to the dealership, unfortunately. I’m sure they’re going to give me crap about my lift being the culprit. I appreciate the help!

I believe you can use the Tazer to tell you any codes and posting those codes if any would be very helpful in getting an answer to help you.

The Tazer does give codes, unfortunately I am not getting any codes, just the light. I also went to the local auto store and had them use their code reader just to double check and no codes were being displayed.

As a last possible solution maybe try disconnecting the batteries for say 15 mins or so to see if it resets, it’s a long shot and if that does not work put it all back to stock and don’t tell the dealer a thing and I doubt they will tag it to the lift you had done.

Also found this during a search and it may offer some help
