Selec Trac and Limited slip

When placing my order it was possible to choose both Selec Trac and the limited slip rear diff axle. I would have expected that with Selec trac the limited slip becomes obsolete.
Is this a glitch of the ordering system or are there indeed cases where a combination of both may make sense?

SelecTrac 4WD Auto mode is like a limited slip for the transfer case (center differential). The limited slip differential in the rear is separate and independent of it.

It can be advantageous to have both.
