Yup, most likelyI originally ordered a 2 door Rubicon because I am really a 2 door guy at heart. Then reality kicked in and I accepted the fact that I need the 4 door. Order changed 2/23 to a 4 door. My wait time will probably be shorter then if I had kept my 2 door order out there...
Exactly! My 6 year old politely used her powers of persuasion to inform me I needed to change my order.....Yup, most likely
Congrats on being reasonable too, DAD !![]()
My 7 year old has been telling me for the last year that the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk I bought was not a “real Jeep” and that I needed an Orange Jeep (Wrangler). After driving the new JL, I had no issues giving in lol.Exactly! My 6 year old politely used her powers of persuasion to inform me I needed to change my order.....
My second order is also showing restricted. I've been waiting for almost 3 months for my first order; I hope I don't have to wait that long for the second one!Yeah, at first I had a dealer tell me the same thing. “It’s a wrangler, they are not discounted”. I went to another dealer and they were great. He beat the Koons price and has been awesome to work with. Out of 30+ cars, he has been b st salesman. However, the first order he placed had some weird issue and never went through. My second order went in no problem, but is showing that the Rubicon is “ Restricted” so we will see where this ends up. I have all the items the forums say are causing issues, so I’m pretty confident I have a long wait ahead.
My VIN was assigned today as well. D status. Lets see if it actually goes anywhere or just sits in D.My VIN was assigned today, so progress is being made... even if the progress is only on paper lol.
I can’t wait for the order tracker to open so I can follow this through the process. With the way I ordered it, it seems like I could be hit by a number of delays, so hoping to get better insight once we can track on here again.
I've never sold cars, but I do work with clients that do things inefficiently. It would seem to me that instead of spending time going back and forth penny-pinching or trying to pull fast ones on customers, it would be better to sell cars at smaller margins but make the difference up on volume. And since you offered such fast and fair service, you have a great reputation and referrals will eventually trickle in as well as repeat customers.Yeah me too. Not only did he “forget” about agreeing to the Tread Lightly discount he swears no one promised me no dealer add ons-$1800 worth! See ya dude!
I have Jeep on my Google alerts, maybe that would help you.Are there similar ways to get Jeep information on Twitter, or people who put information around current status etc out there tha maybe I can follow for updates? I have Jeep followed, but that’s all. Due to my line of work, I really don’t have a social media presence, and only use Twitter for my job. (Sounds funny, but it’s amazing the information I get out there.)
I don’t have a Facebook page either, so any suggestions Around other good place for Jeep info would be great.
I am a big fan of google, good idea!I have Jeep on my Google alerts, maybe that would help you.![]()

Ditto! I'll have a chat with my dealer today probably... I'm two weeks in on my billet order.... But.... Sting gray.Considering joining y'all here in the Second Order Club now that Sting Grey orders are open. Love Granite though, just don't know. Decisions, Decisions...![]()
