Looking at getting a 2022 2 door Jeep and wondering what the measurements of the rear inside space is with the back seat removed and the 2 front seats pushed forward? Mainly the length.

Found this online.

It says JK/JL, but I think it might be JK judging by the front bumper.

JL should be pretty close.

Roughly 4 ft length tailgate to back of front seats...depending on position of front seats. My wife and I can sleep in back with a platform and seat moved all the way forward and leaned forward. We are not tall...5'8" and 5'3"

2dr. JL....

With the rear seat removed, you have 4'6" width, 40" height and about 48"depth , dependent on how far back front seats are.

I guess I'm not sleeping in the back. I'm 6ft. Looks like it's definitely a tent for me. Probably will have to be a ground tent since I'm getting the soft top and since I already own a pretty big tent.

I found this on Reddit a little while back. I've been meaning to try this. The guy who did this is 6'1" and sleeps in it.

From the poster, "It is a folding platform. 2 plywood attached with door hinges. The platform stands on 3 support 2x4 velcroed to the side of the vehicle. I am 6'1''. You could put the platform lower to have more space but my priority is storage. I will make a video this weekend to show more in detail."

I don't think he posted a follow up video :(

I'm 5'11, with a little padding behind the front passenger seat, pushed forward, laying diagnonally is workable; you won't be perfectly flat, but it's a comfortable sleeping position... if it's just you. You'll need a platform for two.

I'd definitely like to see the details on this. I wonder if a plastic folding table would work as well? Interesting.

Small squaredrop trailer is what Ill be doing. Been doing ground tent so far. Get a gazelle and a nice air mattress. I have the REI kingdom. But I recently tried and expad, and thats the ticket, better than foam flooring you see on RTTs.
