What Precautions Are You Guys Taking for Welding/Plasma Cutting on Your JL?

On older vehicles I usually just make sure the ground is fairly close to where I'm working

I have done that several times without any issues on other vehicles, but not on the JL. Was wondering myself what precautions should be taken if I were to tack weld an exhaust, then take it off and finish it.
