SDI E-Click problem / question

Throwing this out to anyone with the SDI e-click shocks.

when the system is connected to my obd2 port my radio randomly reboots (every 12 - 45 mintues)

when i unplug from the obd2 port i can drive all day and the radio never reboots.

SDI support sent me a new harness to rule out a crossed wire, but i still have the issue.

i have a 4xe rubicon.


open to ideas suggestions, as well as curious if anyone else with the e-clicks has had any random radio rebooting.

I would stay in contact with SDI to get that problem resolved. I don't think there are many on here with those shocks, or that same shock/4XE combo. Hopefully they can get you taken care of.

Finished my e-clik install over the Memorial Day weekend on my 4xe Rubicon, and I have the same exact issue. I’ll reach out to SDI tomorrow to see what kind of response I get.

Yeah, they got the issue resolved not long after that. at the time, the main engineer was on vacation for a week. Been working just fine since then.

Was it just a firmware update you could do at home or did it require hardware swaps?

they sent me a different ECU. they do not offer flashing at home.
